The Twins have a nine-game losing streak, just as they did from May 7-16 this year, and if they lose again tonight, it will mark their first 10-game skid since they lost 10 straight from Sept. 9-19, 1998.
Twins trying to avoid first 10-game losing streak since 1998
The Twins have a nine-game losing streak, just as they did from May 7-16 this year, and if they lose again tonight, it will mark their first 10-game skid since they lost 10 straight from Sept. 9-19, 1998.

According to the Mariners game notes, 17 of the 29 players who will be in uniform for Seattle tonight weren't with the team when they were at Target Field for a three-game series, May 23-25.
I don't have the Twins numbers handy, but they're probably just as staggering.
Update: Scott Baker will be activated from the DL before tonight's game and available out of the bullpen.
Alexi Casilla is still having trouble with his hamstring, and it doesn't sound good for him returning this year.
Denard Span went through batting practice, and Manager Ron Gardenhire said if Span arrives at the ballpark feeling good again Wednesday, he'll be in the starting lineup. Span would not play a full nine innings, but he'd get a couple at-bats and get a chance to get his feet wet again.
Jason Repko is having concussion symptoms, after getting beaned Sunday, so he'll need to get cleared through MLB before he can return to action.
