Here are some things you should know following the Twins' losses to St. Louis and Toronto.

vs Cards:

Eduardo Escobar was on base when drilled by a line drive off the bat of Reynaldo Rodriguez. But he should be fine.

Joe Mauer wore sunglasses at the plate and was 1-for-2 with a double.

vs Jays:

Tyler Duffey gave up five runs in the first, including a grand slam.

Byung Ho Park hit a home run off a 92 mph heater from Gavin Floyd.

Miguel Sano also homered but made a nice play in the field when he threw out Troy Tulowitzki trying to leg out a double.

Nick Burdi hit 97-99 on the gun.

Jake Reed got into trouble early as he couldn't spot his fastball. He gave up a run on a hit and two walks. But he threw a breaking ball over for a strike that helped him get locked back in with his mechanics, and he limited the damage.
