The Twins on Wednesday announced the signings of eight players to minor league contracts.

Righthanders Scott Elarton, Virgil Vasquez and Bryan Augenstein; lefthanders Michael O'Connor and Jason Lane; first baseman Reynaldo Rodriguez outfielder Brandon Boggs and shortstop Ray Olmedo. Augenstein, Boggs and Olmedo will be invited to major league spring training camp.
