The Twins have optioned left-handed reliever Caleb Thielbar to Rochester.
Thielbar had a 5.73 ERA in right appearances this spring and was hit hard in Monday's game against the Red Sox.
The Twins have 28 players still in their major league camp, three over the player limit they will need to reach in time for Monday's season-opener at Detroit.
