The Twins have a chance to win a series today as they face the Royals in the rubber game of this three game series.

With a lefty in Jason Vargas on the mound, Twins manager Paul Molitor has opted to bench Oswaldo Arcia and go with Eduardo Escobar in left field. Also Shane Robinson takes over for Jordan Schafer in center field.

The messages already are flowing in on twitter. Why bench the home run hitter? What about his confidence? Molitor indicated that Arcia is going to have to get hot against righthanded pitchers and select lefties for now.

Tommy Milone is on the mound today and is coming off an excellent start last week in Chicago.

Today's game is being televised on the MLB Network, not FoxSportsNorth, by the way. And it's the Kansas City feed.
