The Twins on Friday cleared space on their 40-man roster by outrighting four players to Class AAA Rochester: catcher Rene Rivera, infielder Matt Tolbert, outfielder Jason Repko and righthander Anthony Slama. Tolbert, Repko and Rivera all become free agents, but the Twins retain their rights to Slama.

The team also reinstated righthander Nick Blackburn and infielder Alexi Casilla from the 60-day disabled list, leaving two spots open on the 40-man roster.

Also on Friday, the Twins' concluded week-long organizational meetings in Fort Myers, Fla., where they evaluated the club and discussed offseason strategies.
