The Twins announced their spring training non-roster invite list today, and there were 25 names on there. That's not counting the 39 players currently on the 40-man roster.

So yes, as of today, they'll have 64 players in Fort Myers. This will be like covering a football team.

Last year, the Twins had 19 non-roster invitees. In 2010, they had 16. They've added quantity, but who knows how much quality?

The press release notes that Eddie Guardado and Jim Kaat will be in camp as instructors, joining Tom Kelly, Tony O, Terry Steinbach, Rod Carew and Paul Molitor.

As for the invitees, most have been reported, some are new; it's tough to keep track, but here's the full list of 25:

Pitchers (10): Jason Bulger, Jared Burton, Samuel Deduno, Phil Dumatrait, Casey Fien, Luis Perdomo, Aaron Thompson, Daryl Thompson, P.J. Walters, Brendan Wise.

Catchers (5): Chris Herrmann, Danny Lehmann, Rene Rivera, Dan Rohlfing, J.R. Towles.

Infielders (7): Aaron Bates, Sean Burroughs, Ray Chang, Brian Dozier, Pedro Florimon, Michael Hollimon, Steve Pearce.
