He has hit lefties well this season, so he would be an option to face Twins lefthanded relievers. … This is the first time the teams have met since the Mets swept the Twins in three games at Target Field in 2013. … Former Twins C Rene Rivera has taken over much of the catching duties since Travis d'Arnaud has struggled this season. … The last time Colon faced the Twins was in 2013 — when he was 40.
