Add Vance Wilson and Scott Servais to the list of managerial candidates as the Twins continue to search for a replacement for Rocco Baldelli, who was fired three weeks ago.
Wilson, 52, is the Royals third base coach. He played eight seasons in the majors, six with the Mets and two with the Tigers. The former catcher joined the Royals organization in 2010 as a minor league manager before joining the Royals as a bullpen coach in 2018. He became their third base coach in 2020.
Wilson also interviewed for the Giants managerial position.
Servais, born in La Crosse, Wis., managed the Mariners from 2016 until he was dismissed in August 2024 during a second-half collapse in which Seattle blew a 10-game division lead. He went 668-624 with Seattle, with one playoff appearance in 2023 as a wild card. He spent the 2025 season as a special assistant for player development with the Padres.
Like Wilson, Servais, 58, is a former catcher, having played 11 seasons in the majors.
Wilson and Servais join Nick Punto, James Rowson, Ramón Vázquez and Derek Shelton as candidates the Twins have interest in; some will have another round of interviews this week.
