First of all, palms to the sky for No. 34, who left us 10 years ago today.

Eduardo Nunez, who injured his left foot while running to first base on Saturday, feels better today and is back in the starting lineup.

Byung Ho Park is getting his first look at first base today. The Twins have been satisfied with Park's defense during drills at camp, but they have had to help him smooth out some rough edges, like how he feeds the ball to pitchers covering the bag to giving himself a better angle to throw to second base.

Kyle Gibson is on the mound today, the last of the cycle of Twins starters. Phil Hughes will start on Monday at Sarasota against the Orioles with a limit of three innings or 45 pitches.

Torii Hunter flew home today after his stint as a minor league instructor ended. Twins GM Terry Ryan would like to see Hunter visit the team during the season, if he's willing to do so.

Glen Perkins, J.T. Chargois and Randy Rosario are among the pitchers on the trip today.
