Twins farm notes

Luke Bard, taken 42nd overall by the Twins last year, made his 2013 debut Friday in the Gulf Coast League, allowing a hit and a walk in two-thirds of an inning. Bard, who played in college at Georgia Tech, has been out with a shoulder injury.

• Rochester righthander Liam Hendriks took a perfect game into the seventh inning Thursday before Lehigh Valley shortstop Freddy Galvis broke it up with a single. Hendriks won the game to improve to 3-7.

Kohl Stewart, a first-round draft pick last month, has impressed the Twins with his polish in the GCL, where he's issued only one walk in his first four outings. Stewart, an 18-year-old from Houston, has pitched 10 innings so far (the Twins are limiting his workload) and given up two runs while striking out nine.
