Twins' second-day draft picks

The Twins' eight picks during the second day of the MLB draft.

Third round (80th overall): Travis Blankenhorn, 3B, Pottsville (Pa.) HS. Smooth swing. Good makeup and work habits.

Fourth round (110): Trey Cabbage, 3B. Grainger HS, Rutledge, Tenn. Tennessee commit has a solid approach at the plate.

Fifth round (140): Alex Robinson, LHP, Maryland. Throws in the mid-90s, but control needs work,

Sixth round (170): Chris Paul, OF, California. Good size with some power potential and can play around the field.

Seventh round (200): Jovani Moran, LHP, Carlos Beltran Academy, Puerto Rico. He's lanky and not a flamethrower. Very good delivery.

Eighth round (230): Kolton Kendrick, 1B, Oak Forest Academy (La.). Big-time power potential is main tool.

Ninth round (260): LaMonte Wade, OF, Maryland. Quick bat and has good strike zone judgment.
