Still getting messages about Jung Ho Kang's slide into Danny Santana last night. I believe we are all in agreement that second base umpire Brian O'Nora goofed that one up.
It was clear that Kang changed direction and went into Santana as he tried to complete the double play. And Kang was in no position to tag second base because of his actions. The second runner should have been called out.
That was a moment we could have seen a Paul Molitor blowup, but he was able to get his message across without getting into a confrontation with O'Nora.
On to tonight's game. Only two Twins have faced Pittsburgh lefty Jeff Locke, Shane Robinson (o-for-6) and Torii Hunter (1-for-2). Andrew McCutchen is 6-for-12 against Mike Pelfrey.
