Twins camp Day 3: Willingham, Arcia report

The clubhouse is filling up in front of Friday's reporting date for position players and the first full-squad workout on Friday.

Josh Willingham and Oswaldo Arcia reported to camp today and the clubhouse continues to fill up prior to the first full-squad workout on Saturday. Jason Kubel is in town and is expected to work out tomorrow.

Arcia looks like he's lost a little weight. As for Willingham, nothing has changed. He's built like a battleship.

I provided an update yesterday on the Johan Santana yesterday and expressed doubt that a deal would happen. After checking around this morning, there's a chance it could still happen. Makes too much sense for Santana to train at the Lee County Sports Complex.

Miguel Sano and Kennys Vargas keep calling me, ``Papi." Is that a compliment?

Here's the pitching schedule for today:

Group 1: Burton, Thielbar, Meyer, Gilmartin, Pressly

Group 2: Perkins, Tonkin, Fien, Nolasco, Hoffman

Group 3: Duensing, Hughes, Guerrier, Deduno, Thompson

Check back this afternoon for more updates from camp. And, if Jim Souhan and I are still speaking to each other, we'll have a video up as well.
