Twin Cities woman with Hollywood connections gets new gig

Nicole Remini will be correspondent for new syndicated series.

Fans of "King of Queens"'s Leah Remini may soon find another Remini to fall for. Nicole Remini, who has lived in the Twin Cities for the past seven years, has been tapped to be a commentator for an upcoming syndicated series entitled "Showbiz Court."

The show will feature celebs like Erik Estrada and Danny Bonaduce giving color commentary to Hollywood-related cases. Calfornia's Deputy Attorney Eric Bates will preside.

"It's like the Huffington Post meets TMZ," Remini said.

Remini, who worked on the production team of "Queens," moved to the Twin Cities seven years ago to raise her two children. She has been frequently heard on various radio stations as a guest host.

Remini will shoot episodes in Cctober and November in Los Angeles.
