A collision involving a semitrailer truck and a car on a west-central Wisconsin interstate killed a Twin Cities woman, authorities said Sunday.
Zertasha C. Jones, 41, who has lived in Anoka and Minneapolis in recent years, died in the crash early Saturday afternoon on Interstate 94 near Hixton in Jackson County, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.
Both vehicles were westbound on I-94 at the time, the patrol said. No other details about the crash were released.
The truck driver, Michael D. Purdun, 55, of Antigo, Wis., was not hurt, the patrol added.
