Warrant. An officer went to a home in the 8600 block of 181st Avenue NE. to serve a 26-year-old woman a felony warrant from Washington County. The woman saw the officer and went into the house. The owner of the house said she was not in the house. The officer requested permission to search the home and found the woman hiding in a closet.

FEB. 18

Assault. Officers responded to a report of a man upset and breaking items in a home in the 500 block of Rice Creek Terrace NE. because he was not able to get a COVID-19 test. The 51-year-old man was arrested after assaulting officers and resisting arrest.

Theft. A forklift was stolen from the 15900 block of Lincoln Street NE.

FEB. 27

Suspicious activity. A resident in the 16000 block of 2nd Street reported an SUV with tinted windows and dealer plates stopping in front of their neighbor's house. The caller was concerned because the neighbor's vehicle had recently been broken into and their garage-door opener stolen. The SUV was located at a nearby dealership, where it appeared to have been taken out for a test drive.

Assault. Officers responded to a report of an assault in progress on 173rd Street W. and Encina Path. A 20-year-old woman was arrested for stabbing someone.

Lauderdale

FEB. 27

Fleeing in motor vehicle. Police attempted to stop a vehicle traveling 80 mph in a posted 55 mph zone in the area of Hwy. 280 and Larpenteur Avenue, but it fled and swerved around a truck. The pursuit was stopped, and the vehicle went off the road and crashed. The driver fled on foot and was not located.

Disturbance. An officer responded to a report of a disturbance at an H&M store, 12285 Elm Creek Blvd. A customer had become irate regarding the state face mask mandate and reportedly pushed over a mannequin. The individual left the scene before the officer arrived.

Fire. An officer responded to a report of a flame inside a home under construction on Creekside Way. The source of the fire was found to be a flame from a propane heater, which was properly operating.

Theft. A 38-year-old man was cited after pumping $55 of gas into his vehicle at a gas station in the 200 block of County Rd. E2 and leaving without paying.

Theft. Four baby turtles were stolen from an aquarium at Park Nicollet in the 4100 block of County Rd. 101.

Driving violations. A 36-year-old man was cited for operating an ATV in a careless manner and failing to display valid registration following an accident in the 16400 block of Park Avenue.

Theft. A buffalo chicken wrap, valued at $4.09, was stolen from Dakota Convenience, 15035 Mystic Lake Dr.

Drugs. A 30-year-old woman was arrested for possession of controlled substances, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of a stolen vehicle and an Anoka County warrant at Speedway, 1195 Canterbury Rd.

Weapon. A 20-year-old man was arrested for obstructing the legal process and possession of a firearm at Hwy. 169 and Canterbury Road.
