‘Dance of Joy’ for the new year
Celebrate the forthcoming Year of the Pig with Twin Cities Chinese Dance Center’s annual New Year’s showcase. Fusing traditional Chinese art forms with contemporary innovations, “Dance of Joy X — Rhythm of Spring” will feature various types of folk dances from around China, plus a little tai chi and Peking opera. The show is a whirlwind tour of Chinese cultures and aesthetics, with performers of all ages gracing a visually popping production.
