Q: Is "Major Crimes" coming back on TNT?

A: New episodes begin June 8.

More 'Hell on Wheels'

Q: I just finished watching the latest seasons of "Rectify" and "Hell on Wheels" on Netflix. Both are really good shows. Any idea when we can expect their next season?

A: As I have said before, some shows that people discover on Netflix have a life before going to the streaming service. SundanceTV carries "Rectify," which will begin a run of new episodes on July 9. "Hell on Wheels" will be back for its fifth and final season on AMC on July 18; the 14 episodes in the season will be split into two seven-episode parts, one batch airing in 2015 and the other next year.

Winters gets around

Q: We love the new show "Battle Creek." Dean Winters is so funny. Where have we seen him before?

A: Although CBS has canceled the comedy-drama starring Winters and Josh Duhamel, questions keep coming in about it. To answer this one, you may know Winters as Mayhem in Allstate commercials, as Dennis Duffy on "30 Rock," as Ryan O'Reily on the HBO series "Oz," as Johnny Gavin on "Rescue Me" or from "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," where he played detective Brian Cassidy.

No more 'Gracepoint'

Q: I enjoyed watching "Gracepoint" last season and was wondering if it will be back and when.

A: The Americanized version of the British series "Broadchurch" was not a success, so there will not be another "Gracepoint." However, if you missed "Broadchurch," it has run for two seasons on BBC America, and a third season is in the works. The first two seasons are available on DVD and as a digital download; the first season is on Netflix.
