Q A few months ago, Ron and Amy Shirley of "Lizard Lick Towing" were on "Conan," and then a couple weeks later their show was gone from TruTV. Are we to assume that they accepted the offer to buy them out and sold their lifelong business in North Carolina and won't be back on TV?
Also, Is "Being Human" (not the original BBC version, but the one that airs on Syfy starring Sam Witwer) ever returning to TV?
A "Lizard Lick Towing" will return to TruTV with new episodes on Jan. 21.
"Being Human" will be back with new episodes on Syfy on Jan. 14.
'Damages' and other DVDsQ Has the "Damages" Season 5 DVD set been released? There is nothing about it on Amazon.
Also, I saw your response to a reader several months ago that the "China Beach" DVD release was hung up over the music rights. Is this also the reason we haven't seen the DVD release of "The Wonder Years"?
A Sony hasn't announced a release date for Season 5 of "Damages." The fourth season came out in June. So it stands to reason that Season 5 could come out around that time next year.
And, yes, "The Wonder Years" is the quintessential example of a TV series whose home video release hasn't happened due to music-rights issues.
