Q: I want to know why Steve Harvey's talk show was canceled and if another network will pick it up.

A: NBCUniversal, which distributed the show via syndication (selling it to individual stations instead of via a network), opted not to continue the show after seven years to concentrate on selling a new talk show hosted by Kelly Clarkson. Around the same time, Harvey also lost his gig on "Little Big Shots," which is getting a revamp and new host, Melissa McCarthy. Harvey's show has reportedly been shopped around, although I've not seen a new home yet, and he has been exploring digital network options. For now, you can keep seeing Steve in special segments on steveharvey.com, as well as hosting "Family Feud" and "Celebrity Family Feud."

It just looks like him

Q: Could you tell me if that is a young John Lithgow in the L.L. Bean commercial where they are racing two canoes?

A: It is not.

Royal return

Q: Please tell me whatever happened to "The Crown." I thought they were going to continue with this story.

A: While I have yet to see a specific date, the drama about Queen Elizabeth II will return for a third season later this year. (A fourth season is in the works.) But there will be big changes from the previous seasons. As the series jumps ahead in time and the characters have aged, the actors from the first two seasons are being replaced. For example, Olivia Colman (who won the best actress Oscar for "The Favourite" this year) has succeeded Claire Foy as Elizabeth, and Tobias Menzies ("Outlander") follows Matt Smith as Philip.

'Sleepy Hollow' put to bed

Q: Could you tell me if "Sleepy Hollow" will ever be returning to TV?

A: I do not know of plans for more of the supernatural thriller with Ichabod Crane in the present day, which ended its Fox run in 2017. You can find its four seasons on Hulu, although I'd skip the later episodes. The show was never the same after Nicole Beharie left.

'Counterpart' says goodbye

Q: Is "Counterpart" done, or has another network picked it up?

A: After two seasons on Starz, the eerie drama starring the great J.K. Simmons was canceled. As is the case with pretty much every show these days, it sought a new home. Series creator Justin Marks tweeted in April "we came very close" to a new deal "but in the end, a deal couldn't be reached. So now it's time to say goodbye for real."
