Sky's the limit

Sean "Diddy" Combs and Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter are among the heavyweights heaping praise on the late Christopher Wallace in "Biggie: The Life of Notorious B.I.G.," a documentary that argues the performer's biggest sin was cheating on wife Faith Evans. Skeptics may raise an eyebrow, but there's no arguing over his rap skills, which are generously sampled.

King of comedy

Paying tribute to Jerry Lewis, who died last month, is a tall order, but TCM has assembled a smart tribute that opens with 1963's "The Nutty Professor" and continues with "The King of Comedy," "The Stooge," "The Bellboy" and "The Disorderly Orderly." It's hard to think of a better slate to represent the comic's talent.

Won't you be my neighbor?

For five years, "Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood" has kept Fred Rogers' spirit alive and well, offering life lessons through animated versions of new and old characters from the block. In a new episode, "King Daniel for the Day," our curious tiger learns that ruling the kingdom can be a lot more comfortable if you reign with kindness, a lesson that apparently was lost on most of the characters on "Game of Thrones." If only Mr. Rogers and Daniel had lived in Winterfell.
