Jolly ol' England

Leslie (Amy Poehler) celebrates her TV marriage and a new season of "Parks & Recreation" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11) with a full hour in London. Seeing how she got to meet Joe Biden last season, we can only assume she'll be holding court with William and Kate.

Big is back

"The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) returns with Leonard (Johnny Galecki) on the road. You know what that means: more awkward interaction between Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and perhaps another rendition of "Soft Kitty."

Meet the parents

Ray Romano returns for the season premiere of "Parenthood" (9 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11), a show that deserves more attention from Emmy voters and viewers. Among this year's story lines: trouble in the marriage between Joel (Sam Jaeger) and Julia (Erika Christensen).

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
