The latest edition of the ever reliable series "30 for 30" (7 p.m., ESPN) swirls around Jimmy Connors' unlikely comeback at the 1991 U.S. Open, when he was eight years removed from his last Grand Slam title. If it's anything like Connors' recent autobiography, look for the giant chip on his shoulder.
Radio days
Orson Welles may be best known for "Citizen Kane" and pitching wine, but the act that really put him on the map was a radio show. "War of the Worlds" (8 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2) looks at how a fairly campy play terrified a nation to the obvious delight of its narrator.
Painting the town
Turns out "Naked Vegas" (9 p.m., Syfy) is not a backstage peek into Nevada strip clubs. Instead, it's a docu-series focusing on five artists who make up a Las Vegas body painting company, creating artwork on naked models. What ever happened to good ol'-fashioned canvas?
