Rescue me

In "Saving Otter" (7 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2), fraternity brothers reunite to rescue Tim Matheson's character from "Animal House." Either that, or researchers try to keep California sea otters from becoming extinct.

Toys R us

It appears that Buzz Lightyear and Woody aren't quite ready to retire. In "Toy Story of Terror" (7 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5), the Pixar stars panic when one of them goes missing during an overnight stay at a motel. I suspect this is the work of Chucky from "Child's Play."

Royal couple

Lindsay Lohan's attempt to play one of Hollywood's giants is overshadowed by Helena Bonham Carter's pitch-perfect take on Elizabeth Taylor in "Burton and Taylor" (8 p.m., BBC America). Dominic West isn't bad, either, as Richard Burton, who can't stop lovin' that gal of his.
