The weight of the world

Former "American Idol" champ Ruben Studdard returns to reality TV — but perhaps not in the way he wanted. Studdard is among the contestants for the 15th edition of "The Biggest Loser" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). He's this season's heaviest contestant, at 462 pounds, which roughly translates to about four Clay Aikens.

Boys' club

MC Lyte, the first solo female rapper to release a full-length album, will be honored during the "BET Hip Hop Awards 2013" (7 p.m., BET), which actually took place last month. Sadly, almost all the performers are male, which means Lyte may not have been such a trailblazer after all.

No tackling

Former Viking Chris Doleman may be proud of being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but I'll bet he's equally boastful about his 3 handicap, which he uses in "Big Break NFL Puerto Rico" (8 p.m., Golf), an ongoing competition that pits former NFL stars against each other on a different kind of turf.
