TV picks for Oct. 10: BET Hip Hop Awards, 'Undercover High,' 'Adventure Capitalists'

After weathering a hurricane, Miami could have used a party — and it got one in the form of the BET Hip Hop Awards, which took place last weekend with performances by DJ Khaled and Cardi B, while Florida rapper Uncle Luke got lifetime achievement props.

More than a game

"Adventure Capitalists" makes the "Shark Tank" panel look downright lazy by having its entrepreneurs venture out in the field, where they test such products as new mountain bikes and portable gyms. It helps that the investors, including gymnast Shawn Johnson East and NFL veteran Dhani Jones, are all former athletes and incredibly game to try anything.

9 p.m., CNBC

Love is in the air

Robert Redford and Jane Fonda are a little old to go barefoot in the park, but they're bound to generate sparks in "Our Souls at Night," a romantic drama about two widowed neighbors in Colorado. Talk of Redford's retirement from acting seems to be premature, which is good news for anyone who saw him turn back the clock in "All Is Lost" and "A Walk in the Woods."
