Changing the dial

Don't turn off the lights on "Nashville" just yet. The once popular ABC soap you can dance to has moved to AXS, which will celebrate its acquisition with repeats from last season, followed by two new episodes. Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere remain with the series, which is pretty remarkable considering AXS is still a fairly obscure destination for cable viewers. Maybe this will change that.

New episodes start at 8 p.m. Saturday, AXS

Kiss me, Kate

"Suicide Squad" star Margot Robbie hosts the season premiere of "Saturday Night Live," which welcomes three new cast members. But expect the emphasis to remain on Kate McKinnon, whose fierce yet sympathetic impression of Hillary Clinton was a major reason she took home an Emmy last month for best supporting actress in a comedy.

10:30 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11

Bloody bionics

It doesn't take long for guest star Lee Majors to drop a "Six-Million-Dollar Man" reference on the season premiere of "Ash vs. Evil Dead," a series that does as good a job as any of breaking from the macabre to wink at the camera. Those asides are particularly welcome during the early action: a battle between Bruce Campbell and a well-endowed male corpse that might as well have been directed by Larry Flynt.

7 p.m. Sunday, Starz
