Walk this way

Former "American Idol" panelist Steven Tyler is not done judging. He's among the celebrities who will help pick a queen during the "2013 Miss Universe Competition" (8 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11) being broadcast from Moscow. Based on his behavior during the singing show, producers might want to make sure there's a drool cup at his table.

A salute to the soldiers

Alan Alda and Joe Mantegna host the four-hour "Homeward Bound Telethon" (6 p.m. Sunday, Military Channel) with performances from Patti Austin, Michael Feinstein and the American Military Spouses Choir. Among those manning the phone banks: Kevin Spacey, who will hopefully greet callers with his impression of Johnny Carson.

Food for thought

Anthony Bourdain is full — for now. In "Parts Unknown Last Bite" (9 p.m. Sunday, CNN), the traveling chef will look back at the last season of his foodie/travel show with the help of Marcus Samuelsson and "The Wire" star Wendell Pierce. Bring your appetite.
