Can't stop thinking about you

Sting's tour may be favoring more intimate venues, including Maplewood's Myth nightclub in March, but he still knows how to play a big tent. The former Police captain will perform a hit-driven medley as part of the 2016 American Music Awards. Drake leads the field with 13 nominations.

Missing in action

"Search Party" is the latest "sitcom" that's more interested in developing characters than generating laughs, and while that's admirable, it doesn't quite work here. Alia Shawkat ("Arrested Development") stars as a personal assistant who tries to escape her pedestrian life by trying to track down a missing person she barely knows. It's about as much fun as an egg hunt at a second-grader's party until an unhinged Rosie Perez comes along in the second episode and shakes things up.

Witchcraft

Superman makes goo-goo eyes at Sabrina the Teenage Witch in "Broadcasting Christmas," Hallmark's latest attempt to keep former network stars relevant. Melissa Joan Hart, in her first movie for the cable channel, plays a plucky newscaster who goes up against her former boyfriend (Dean Cain) for a spot on a morning talk show. The holiday rom-com's plot is as predictable and comforting as fruitcake, which, as it turns out, happens to play a pivotal part in this tasty slice of fluff.
