Dream genie

Barbara Eden is out of the bottle. The ageless star of "I Dream of Jeannie" grants grandparents their wishes by voicing the Crystal Queen in a new episode of the preschool series "Shimmer and Shine," a prep course of sorts for those not yet ready to face the melodrama of "Frozen."

Silly love songs

"Have a hanky by the ready," warns the amiable host of "Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs," a delightful tour through unexpected pop ballads that show off the Broadway star's sentimental side and his Scottish lilt. Cumming, who appears to dab away a few tears of his own halfway through the one-hour set, won't be recruited for a Frank Sinatra biopic anytime soon, but his tender reading of "Complicated" will force you to re-evaluate Avril Lavigne.

Turning over the engine

Four former cast members of "Top Gear," including fan favorite Jeremy Clarkson, embark on a new journey in "The Grand Tour," with motorized adventures in Los Angeles, Johannesburg and Dubai. Amazon has committed to 36 episodes, despite the fact that Clarkson's previous contract was not renewed after accusations that he attacked a producer.

Can't stop thinking about you

Sting's tour may be favoring more intimate venues, including Maplewood's Myth nightclub in March, but he still knows how to play a big tent. The former Police captain will perform a hit-driven medley as part of the 2016 American Music Awards. Drake leads the field with 13 nominations.

7 p.m. Sun., KSTP, Ch. 5
