Going to California

Katie Couric goes Hollywood with all of this week's episodes of "Katie" (2 p.m. KSTP, Ch. 5), coming to you from Jimmy Kimmel's studios in Los Angeles. Scheduled guests include Zooey Deschanel, Tori Spelling, Rod Stewart and Maya Rudolph.

Road trip

For "Rihanna 777" (7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9), the pop star loaded a 777 jet with fans and journalists for seven concerts in seven countries over seven days. Sounds great, except for the fact that the only in-flight movie is Brad Pitt's very graphic "Seven."

Just married

Emmy award-winning documentarian Lauren Lazin follows four newly married couples for a year in "Newlyweds: The First Year" (9 p.m. Bravo). It's almost certain that this will be followed next season by "Therapy Sessions: The Second Year."
