Jail break

Encore is airing an Elvis Presley movie every night this month — and almost all of them aren't worth your time. The exception is 1957's "Jailhouse Rock" (7 p.m. Saturday, Encore), an early piece of work that shows Presley was best when he projected an air of danger. Too bad his management team felt differently.

Zach attack

Zach Galifianakis steps up to host "Saturday Night Live" (10:30 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11) for the third time, which is a lot more appealing to us than having to sit through "The Hangover III." Strangely enough, this will be the 18th appearance for Galifianakis' beard.

What's cookin'

Gavin Kaysen, who went from working at a Subway in Bloomington to running the kitchen at one of New York's highest-rated restaurants, takes his talents to the finals of "Chopped All-Stars" (8 p.m. Sunday, Food). The Cafe Boulud chef is hoping to win $50,000 for the Minneapolis-based Children's Cancer Research Fund.
