And the winners are

It's a night for champs to be crowned on "Dancing With the Stars" (7:30 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5) and "The Voice" (8 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11). Minnesota's own Jesse Larson is a bit of a long shot on "The Voice," just barely squeaking into the top four, but you never know.

King of the world

One of my favorite nights of comedy last year was watching Hasan Minhaj relate stories at the Woman's Club of Minneapolis about growing up as a second-generation immigrant. Since then, his profile has shot up, thanks to a gig at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but "Homecoming King," as much a theater piece as a stand-up routine, still resonates. Those who missed his local appearances can now check out his one-man show.

Right-hand man

To better understand President Donald Trump's agenda, it's best to know at least a little about Steve Bannon, a difficult task considering that the shadowy adviser rarely does interviews. He doesn't break that tradition for "Bannon's War," a new "Frontline" documentary, but filmmakers do the best they can to shed some light on the man who has (or had) the president's ear.
