April 11, 1976 Charlie Brown (second from right) is a star and Snoopy (far left) is a ham of a dogged director, while Lucy and Linus are more or less themselves, as the Peanuts put on their own little movie within a movie, in "A Boy Named Charlie Brown", the first feature film about Charles M. Schulz's Peanuts clan. It will be presented for the first time on television, Friday, April 16 (8:00-9:30 PM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. March 1976 CBS

Good grief

Charles Schulz didn't give many interviews, which is why this 1978 episode of "The Dick Cavett Show" is so fascinating. The Minnesota cartoonist's revelations about the creation of "Peanuts" is followed by the Oscar-nominated film "A Boy Named Charlie Brown."

Hanging tough

"Grey's Anatomy" and "Scandal" may not trigger the same level of water-cooler talk that they once did, but both Shonda Rhimes dramas are still going strong. "Grey's," which wraps up its 13th season, is followed by a two-hour "Scandal," which will return for Season 8 in the fall.

Oh, to be in England

Fans of British-bred entertainment may want to consider investing in Acorn TV, a streaming service that for $4.99 a month gives you some of the best offerings from across the pond. The latest addition is "Decline and Fall," a three-part miniseries about food, love and infidelity in Cornwall. The decidedly non-British Eva Longoria is among the cast members.
