Octopus' garden

"Spider-Man 2.1" offers eight minutes of footage not included in the original 2004 film. More important, it features a fantastic performance by Alfred Molina as Dr. Octopus that should earn him a spot in the All-Star Villains Hall of Fame. 7 p.m. Saturday, KSTP, Ch. 5.

Jenny from the block

Jennifer Lopez receives the Icon award as part of the "2014 Billboard Awards," which also features the debut of a duet with Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert. Miley Cyrus and Ricky Martin are among the other announced performers. 7 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5.

Girl power

It may be four years old, but "The Women of SNL" still holds up with great turns from Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon and Kristen Wiig. The 2010 special was the unofficial turning point for the late-night series that was previously accused of not giving a fair shake to women. One could argue now that it's the women who have dominated the show over the past decade. 8 p.m. Sunday, KARE, Ch. 11
