The final rose

There are three hours left in Chris Soules' mission to find a wife and bring her back to his Iowa barn as "The Bachelor" wraps up its season with Becca Tilley and Whitney Bischoff going toe to toe. The winner gets a handsome man and all the eggs she can handle. 7 p.m. KSTP, Ch. 5

Checking back in

"Bates Motel," the chilling prequel to Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho," returns for its third season with Norman and his doting mother Norma still working out some serious family issues. If you're playing catch up, Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available on Netflix. 8 p.m. A&E

Rocky Mountain high

It's become fair sport to make fun of the late John Denver, but there's no denying his success in the 1970s, when he churned out a ton of middle-of-the-road pop songs. "John Denver: Country Boy," a 2013 documentary, does a nice job of reflecting both his talent and the demons that possessed him. 9 p.m. TPT, Ch. 2
