Kiss me, Kate
One of the reasons that "The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) continues to charm is that the show slowly but surely has kept expanding the cast, thereby expanding the story lines. It's hard to tell this early, but we see great potential in keeping around quirky character actress Kate Micucci as Raj's new girlfriend.
Timing is everything
The great news: "Community" (7 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11) has secured James Brolin (a k a Mr. Streisand) to play the father of Jeff Winger (Joel McHale). The awkward news: Because NBC kept this show on the shelf so long, this outing is a Thanksgiving episode, which may lead to an unnatural hankering for turkey in March.
Clothes call
Are fashion experts this generation's rock gods? "L.A. Frock Stars" (7 p.m., Smithsonian) is the latest reality series to suggest just that by putting the spotlight on Doris Raymond and her Los Angeles store, The Way We Wore. Gee, I hope Raymond is better with wardrobe advice than she is with creating puns.
