Who's going to tell Mom?

Controversial director Neil LaBute ("In the Company of Men") returns to TV with "Billy & Billie," a new comedy about an opposites-attract couple who are falling in love. One teeny problem: They're stepsiblings. LaBute's eagerness to shock will disturb many viewers, but there's no denying that he's got a great ear for dialogue. 7 p.m. DirecTV.

Beam them up

"Hell's Kitchen" returns for its 14th season with Gordon Ramsay having the 18 new contestants prepare their signature dishes. The winner gets a night out with William Shatner. Wait. That's a prize? 7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9

Blowin' in the wind

"Sing Out! Icons of Folk" lives up to its title with musical excerpts from '60s and '70s legends, including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, the Byrds, John Denver and Peter, Paul and Mary. What, no Tiny Tim? 8:30 p.m. TPT, Ch. 2
