Broadcast news

Your interest in "Alex, Inc." will depend largely on how much you miss Zach Braff's earnest doctor on "Scrubs." The actor is the co-creator and star of this sitcom about a journalist who swims against the mainstream by starting his own podcast. It's a timely, if not laugh-rich, premise. Still, Braff can be a draw, especially if you like rooting for dudes who emulate "The Graduate's" Benjamin Braddock.

What's the buzz

NBC hopes to get audiences pumped up about its presentation of "Jesus Christ Superstar" on Easter Sunday with "Andrew Lloyd Webber Tribute to a Superstar," with appearances from Glenn Close, Lin-Manuel Miranda and John Legend, who will play the title character in the upcoming live broadcast of the Lloyd Webber musical.

9 p.m., KARE, Ch. 11

Spies like us

The final season of "The Americans" begins with our KGB spies (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell) playing some kind of behind-the-scenes role at an arms control summit. The series has moved back to its original Wednesday time slot after spending last season on Tuesdays.
