Open bar

"Abby's," TV's latest attempt to set a sitcom in a bar where everybody knows your name, has a long way to go before it's as homey as "Cheers," but it's off to a decent start, thanks to an engaging performance from Natalie Morales as the proprietor with a strong-as-Everclear persona. Fire alarm

Fans of "Reno 911" will probably get a kick out of "Tacoma FD," an unabashedly silly sitcom that revolves around firefighters who might as well be enrolled in middle school. Actual blazes take a back seat to spitting llamas, contests over passing gas and the "horrors" of having a female join the ranks.
