"Aloha Vet" is the latest series to put a charismatic veterinarian in the spotlight. This time, it's Scott Sims, a Hawaiian doctor who hops from island to island, taking care of everything from a sea turtle stuck in a fishing line to a blind pig. 8 p.m. Saturday, National Geographic Wild

One of the Bible's most familiar tales gets yet another retelling with "Noah's Ark" starring David Threlfall as a farmer who saves his family and various beasts from a devastating flood. Joanne Whalley plays his long-suffering wife. 6 p.m. Sunday, UP

Angie Harmon, best known for kicking tail on "Law & Order" and "Rizzoli & Isles," discovers that putting up a good fight runs in the family. In a new episode of "Who Do You Think You Are?" she finds out that one of her ancestors fought under George Washington. 9 p.m. Sunday, TLC
