There's no rest these days for political reporters. Mark Halperin and John Heilemann, both journalists for the New York Times, return to TV with "The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth," an up-to-date documentary series that goes under the Big Top with ringmaster Donald Trump.

A spoonful of sugar

Julie Andrews may no longer have her Mary Poppins uniform, but she's still eager to teach youngsters a thing or two. "Julie's Greenroom" features the Oscar winner and her famous playmates — Carol Burnett, Alec Baldwin, Joshua Bell — encouraging preschoolers to embrace the performing arts.

Rockin' in the free world

The lineup for "Farm Aid 2016" paled in comparison to the annual fundraiser's earliest draws, but don't disregard the chance to see Neil Young, at the top of his game in concert these days, as well as Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats ("The Shape I'm In"), Dave Matthews ("Don't Drink the Water") and Alabama Shakes ("Future People").
