'Ted' talk

Liam Neeson is one of many stars to have a role in "Ted 2," which opens this weekend. On "Live With Kelly and Michael," he'll talk about that film in which he plays "customer" and perhaps about playing himself in the recent "Entourage" movie. At least another guest has a more challenging role: Jim Parsons is playing God on Broadway in "Act of God." 9 a.m., KSTP, Ch. 5

Puck picks

When you think of the National Hockey League, do you think of Sunrise, Fla.? Me, neither. But it's the home of the Florida Panthers and site of the NHL Draft. The Edmonton Oilers have the No. 1 pick for the fourth time in six years. Apparently, the draft doesn't pay off unless you're the Chicago Blackhawks. 6 p.m., NBCSP

Lighten up

The premise of "Lisa Lampanelli: Back to the Drawing Board" is that the comic known as the Queen of Mean is giving her act a makeover. She's definitely given herself a makeover by shedding more than 100 pounds — and her husband. 9 p.m., Epix

Raising the roof

"In Performance at the White House" does not feature the recent private performance by Prince and Stevie Wonder, which White House media spokespeople won't confirm ever happened. We can confirm one roof-raising concert arranged by the Obamas: a celebration of gospel music, taped this spring. Featured are singers of different backgrounds, including Aretha Franklin, Darlene Love, Shirley Caesar, Bishop Rance Allen, Emmylou Harris, Lyle Lovett, Rodney Crowell and new sensation Rhiannon Giddens. 9:35 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2
