NBC broadcasts the first of two Minneapolis-shot episodes of "American Ninja Warrior," the summertime hit that set up camp at U.S. Bank Stadium for a weekend in late May to winnow down the 720 hopefuls vying for a $1 million prize. On "Elementary," Sherlock Holmes proves he will go to great lengths to protect his father, Morland, who is in mortal danger. The detective enlists a former foe to watch after Dad. Meanwhile, Holmes and Watson investigate the murder of a lawyer who was probing finances in the tobacco industry.

Cup runneth over

While you may be caught up in the current FIFA World Cup, the next cup will be in 2022 in Qatar. The facilities there are being built by more than 1 million African and Asian migrant workers. "The Workers Cup" looks at these laborers, who are also competing in their own soccer tournament.
