Hot on the trail

"Bad Henry," the latest special to put a serial killer in the spotlight, looks at Henry Louis Wallace's murder spree in Charlotte, N.C., during the 1990s through the eyes of the determined Garry McFadden, one of only nine homicide detectives on the local police force.

Men are from Mars

The stand-up special "Iliza Shlesinger: Elder Millennial" doesn't break any new ground with its relentless focus on the dating game, but the recently married comedian is so brilliant at her craft that you won't mind revisiting familiar territory. Shlesinger, who won the 2008 season of "Last Comic Standing," will perform Sept. 14 at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis.

They're having a baby

WWE fans may get a kick out of "Miz & Mrs," a six-part reality series about ring personalities the Miz and Maryse as they prepare for the birth of their first child. The couple come across as highly likable and compatible, a problem in a genre that has its most success when "loved ones" are at each other's throats.
