Afternoon of the Hunter

Tab Hunter's career took a kooky turn in the 1980s, when he became something of a self-caricature in films like "Grease 2" and "Polyester." An eight-film marathon dedicated to the actor, who died earlier this month, harks back to his golden years (1955-59), when he was Warner Brothers' top star. The heart of the tribute — "The Girl He Left Behind" (1 p.m.) and "The Burning Hills" — spotlights his on-screen chemistry with Natalie Wood.

It's a miracle

"The 2018 Kids Choice Sports Awards" doesn't have much love for Minnesota athletes, but the Vikings' Stefon Diggs is a strong candidate for his "miracle catch" in the Play of the Year category. Chris Paul hosts the taped ceremony with honors going out for Sickest Moves and Best Cannon.

The search goes on

Zachary Quinto has already stepped into Leonard Nimoy's shoes on "Star Trek." Now the actor takes over the late actor's role as host of "In Search Of," a new version of the series that explores unexplained phenomena from all over the world. No word on if Quinto will reprise his idol's character from "Mission: Impossible."

Have gun, will travel

"Wynonna Earp" may not be a ratings blockbuster, but its fan base is strong enough to justify several fan conventions, including an "Earp-a-palooza" Oct. 12-14 in Minneapolis, with many of the cast members in attendance. See what all the fuss about in the Season 3 premiere.
