Hi, Bob!

"The Big Bang Theory" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), like other classic sitcoms, plays well even if you're watching an episode for the fourth time. That's a good enough reason to re-watch the episode from this past May that features a hysterical cameo from Bob Newhart as a past-his-prime entertainer whom Leonard and Sheldon hire for a party.

The New York Times' Frank Rich puts his mighty mind to work assembling an evening of his favorite films, including the Preston Sturges classic "The Palm Beach Story" (7 p.m., TCM) and the haunting "The Manchurian Candidate" (8:45 p.m., TCM), featuring Frank Sinatra's best on-screen performance.

For the Season 14 premiere of "Project Runway" (8 p.m., Lifetime), contestants are asked to design outfits made entirely out of parachute material. The only thing that would make this challenge even better is if one of the guest judges were MC Hammer.
