Night at the improv

Aisha Tyler takes over for Drew Carey as host of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (7 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23), the fast-paced "game show" that showcases the art of improvisational comedy. Early episodes haven't quite yet clicked, but it's still a wonder to watch the quick brainwork of Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie in action.

Baby makes three

"Giuliana & Bill" (7 p.m., Style), one of reality TV's more likable couples, return for a sixth season, one that documents the challenges of being new parents and taking their first international vacation together as a family. The baby's name is Duke, which I guess is a lot better than naming him after Bill Rancic's former boss, Trump.

Summer lovin'

Why is the USA Network among the biggest success stories in cable? Because the outlet smartly jams its summer schedule with easy, breezy dramas like "Covert Affairs" (8 p.m., USA) and "Suits" (9 p.m., USA), which both require only a minimal amount of thinking and a deep appreciation for sexy stars.
