Amazing race

"The History of Comedy," CNN's newish documentary series, returns with a timely episode on race and humor. As usual, the episode is short on insight, but rich with well-chosen clips and commentary from standups including Dick Gregory, Sarah Silverman and Russell Peters. Some viewers may bristle at the inclusion of Bill Cosby without any mention of his legal troubles, but given the theme, the lack of a disclaimer is excusable.
